AWS Welding Certification

Parke Vermillion Adult Education offers an AWS Welding Certification. Basic Mig and Tig welding skills are taught. Employment for welders, cutters, solderers and brazers is expected to grow by 6% by 2026. The nation will need the expertise of these occupations to repair aging bridges, building and highways.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

A certified clinical medical assistant (CCMA) assists a physician with clinical treatments or procedures. Their responsibilities include helping prepare for exams, taking the vital signs, giving vaccinations and collecting the medical history of patients.
Child Development Associate (CDA)

Parke Vermillion Adult Ed partners with Indiana Association for the Eduction of Young Children (INAEYC) to provide CDA instruction through their Non-Formal Certification initiative. Students who enroll in this course must be currently employed in the care or education of young children a minimum of 25 hours per week.
CDL-A/B Certification

Parke Vermillion Adult Education offers CDL training in partnership with WorkIn and IVY Tech University. Students will begin course work in the adult education program and continue CDL training at another location. Employment for CDL drivers is expected to grow 6% by 2026.

CBCS Certified Billing and Coding Specialist

Medical Coding and Billing is an in-demand job which frequently allows options of working on site or online. This course is an intensive 4 week hybrid option, combining in person and online instructions. Students who take this course will be expected to complete at least 16 hours of online instruction per week, culminating in taking and passing the NHA Certified Coding and Billing Specialist exam. Approximately 16 hours of Clinical Experience will be provided after passing the exam
